Exploring

this little girl is everywhere now!....she loves to crawl and get into everything.....she stands and will take a few steps......a few days ago she took 12 steps and was so pround of herself....any day it will be all walking and no crawling:)

Silverlake

went up to silverlake on sunday for a hike:)

Pumpkin Patch

trent picked out a bunch of pumpkins and we went through a cool corn maze...we're excited to carve them and eat some yummy seeds:)

Fall Is In The Air

we took the kids to the park the other evening....and bundeled them up.....something about the crisp cool air & the smell in the air that makes me love fall:)

Fall

wes and the kids and i, took a beautiful drive through the alpine loop yesterday.....wes stopped along the way and trent collected all sort of colored leaves......fall had arrived.

Tubes

scarlett is getting tubes in her ears on tuesday...she still has an ear infection, after 4 rounds of antibiotics.....i'm a little nervous about the surgery, but know it's a pretty simple procedure and the best thing for her....i hate seeing her pulling at her ears and feeling miserable.....i'm happy that this will solve the problem and i can have my happy-go-lucky scarlett back...maybe everyone can say a few prayers for her on tuesday morning:)

Listening

the other day, trent had some friends over to play.....he comes up to me and asks "mom can we go upstairs and play in my room?".....i say " no, you have already made a hugh mess in the backyard and a hugh mess in your playroom, so lets just stay downstairs".....trent goes back to his friends and says "hey guys, you all want to come upstairs and play in my room".....he listens so well, i had to laugh.....i guess at least he asked me first, right?

p.s....he didn't get to go upstairs in his room:)
