Slide Show

trent got this cool 3d projector that you can do a slide show with...grandma gg bought it for him and it comes with a cd that you play that goes along with a sea creature slide show....he loves to be in charge and play it for anyone who comes over, he is very patient and listens to the cd till it's time to change the slide.....scarlett is his biggest fan and has seen it now about 7 times, she can sit up, but sometimes will fall over, so the laundry basket is her new seat.

Cottonwood Hangout

our neighbors (lance & mariko) invited us and a group of friends up to big cottonwood canyon to have a potluck and hang out at her grandfather's property....it was so beautiful and made me realize how much i miss camping in the great outdoors...we are so lucky to live here in utah and have everything right at our finger tips...we had great conversation, food, smores, and the kids enjoyed running around.....thanks!

Cookie Press

trent loves to bake and always loves using fun gadgets, we've had this cookie press for quite some time, but have never used it.....so he found it and ask if we could make cookies.....so we started making the cookies, we put the butter and sugar in the mixer and i told him to tun it on, well i forgot to lock down the bowl and sugar went flying everywhere......after me almost having a anxiety attack, i cleaned it up and we started again....he had a blast and the cookies turned ok yummy....although in the morning i was still stepping in sugar on the floor.

Teething!

ok, i haven't posted any new pics in awhile because my sweet mellow scarlett has turned into fussy never-put-me-down scarlett.....i feel so bad for this little one, her 2 bottom teeth are coming through and she is not enjoying it.....i cleaned the kitchen this morning with her on my hip....hopefully it will pass and i can have my baby back, but i'm sure more teeth are to come......vee

Daybreak pool

the pool in the community we live just opened...we've been wanting to get over there and check it out....yesterday we finally got a chance to swim in it....trent wants to go again today..super cool!

i found these sunglasses for scarlett at the gap and couldn't resist....trent had to get his on too.

The Jogger

well scarlett is finally big enough for poppie mark to take her in the jogger........if you don't know my dad, he takes the grandkids on 4 hour walks to the park...literally he's gone forever and we never can find him.....i went on this walk so i could keep scarlett on her schedule.....they had a fun time at the park....thanks dad!

pink toenails

my mom has been dying to paint scarlett's toenails pink....so as soon as we got here she did...can i say it's the cutest thing in the world on those chubby feet....everytime i look at them i crack up...way too cute!!!

Huntington Beach

it's nice coming to the beach since we don't live here anymore, i really appreciate the beauty of it. the fresh ocean air and watching trent so free, takes me back to my childhood. it was such a fun day! my friend jessica, who i went to kindergarten through highschool with, was a trooper and drove down from palm springs. we had a blast with her, my dad , jess's sister-in-law jen, and all the kids.

4th of July

Wes is home now and i'm at my parents with the kids for a few more days.

Vaction Time

Well we're off to california. We're so excited to see all our family and friends. Trent can't wait, he asks me everyday if this is the day. Hope everyone has a fun and safe 4th of july!!!

Scarlett's Crib

trent is seriously in love with scarlett, he has been since the day she was born....when it is time for scarlett's nap or bed time he says "no, no, don't put her to bed", then he has to kiss and hug her 50 times before she lays down.....if she is already in her crib he has a stool he stands on and bends over to kiss and hug her...this picture he decided to get in the crib with her.....it's so sweet to see how much he loves her....she is also so in love with him and cracks up at everything he does.

ps...for those of you who don't know scarlett had to get a helmet which she will wear for the next 4-6 weeks....it will help shape her head...i was nervous about how she would do with it on 23hrs a day, but bless her heart, she is doing great:)
